Police officer risked his own life to save a drowning dog
This is the story from Bogota in Colombia. A police officer was on duty in Bogota streets and he heard a scared dog screaming for help. It was dark and he could not immediately see anything but he called on his fellows to help save the scared dog. The exact location of this event was then traced in Juan Amarillo wetland in Colombia’s capital. The dog was drowning in wetland while the officer took off his official clothing to save the dog. He did not hesitate and jumped into the freezing water.
The fellow officers assisted him and guided him to reach the dog. They were also encouraging him for this great help. The dog was rescued but the body symptoms demonstrated that someone has abused this dog. Someone consciously threw him into the cold water to be dead. The dog’s hind legs were stringed and it was swimming with extreme difficulty. Moreover, there were hypothermia signs on the body of dog.
